Academic Achievement tests are measurements of academic achievement in reading, math and language. Achievement tests can measure cognitive, conceptual, concrete, abstract and critical thinking.
CAVE Inc. administers the following Academic Achievement tests:
- Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) Form 9 Level A is recognized widely by schools and businesses as an accurate assessment of adult and student academic achievement levels in Reading, Math Computation, Applied Math and Language.
- Wide Range Achievement Test (WRAT 3) is a well know and recognized assessment of basic academic achievement levels and general cognitive ability.
- Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal (WGCTA) measures important abilities involved in critical thinking. The ability to define a problem, select pertinent information to solve a problem, recognize stated and unstated assumptions, formulate and select relevant and promising hypotheses, and the ability to draw conclusions and judge the validity of inferences.
